It all started with a magical unicorn card I was making for my niece’s birthday. I bought an SVG file from Etsy and instead of the smooth crafting session I envisioned, my Cricut machine started making strange noises, and my paper got chewed up. I was frustrated but not one to give up easily, I did some investigation and found the issue was with the file.  It was poorly designed with millions of nodes crushed together causing the machine to get stuck.

Having recently just completed a Graphic Design course, I decided to put my new skills to the test and see if I could fix the file. I smoothed out the lines, eliminated the excess nodes, and guess what? The design cut perfectly. 

That was my aha moment. I realised I could create SVG files that actually worked and I decided to channel my passion for crafting and design into creating high-quality SVG files tailored for Cricut users. My mission is to provide crafters with files they can trust, knowing they won’t damage their materials or machines.
